Friday:
My wife cooked brisket, kids melted down, went to bed early.

Saturday:
Two soccer games, we were soundly beaten. Hot out. Put out Christmas lights while slapping mosquitos away.

Sunday:
Cold front arrives. Two more soccer games. First one we were trounced. (‘by girls‘ says my son). Second one we won. In between there was church. Freezing bitter cold. All my favorite football teams lost, too.

Monday:
Colder still, with more on the way. Who left the freezer door open? Found out our baby is having adenoids removed next week.
