My little girl decided not to play soccer this season, choosing softball instead. Not that she knows what that is, but it sounds neat. Once she finds out she gets to swing a bat around she will be thrilled.
Anyway, just because she isn’t playing, doesn’t mean she doesn’t insist on going to the boys’ practice.

Watching a movie the other day, set in Newcastle. Where they talk funny, y’all.
Son: “Dad, what does ‘shite’ mean?”

Yes, I imagine my wife will be real happy about this. But at least I didn’t answer him when he asked what “shag” meant…
