I’m back, and pop quiz

*crickets chirping*

um, Hi y’all!

Well, okay.  I’m sorry to say I’m back – I think everyone who has written here while I was gone has done a fabulous job.  There was one entry in particular that touched me rather deeply, too – it’s not nice to make grumbly bears all teary-eyed, folks.

Anyway, we are home, most of the laundry is done, the house isn’t too unclean, the dogs were very happy to see us, the cats act like we never left, and the kids think that the New World Order means having mom and dad cater to their every whim.

So.  Um, I don’t have much to write about!  I guess I could tell you about our trip, but surely nobody wants to hear about that…

  4. I think maybe you’re yanking our (collective) chains and EVeRYTHING you listed actually happened. Otherwise, I have to agree with the ladies above!

    No parent’s life is really complete without an ER visit… or two.

  5. I would like it to be not the E.R. trip, but you have kids. Now you were on vacation, so I thinking that the MOST likely is that you managed to not actually watch High School Musical for a week.

  7. Okay – not too long ago I was in Galveston – my guess – knowing your obsession with gas prices is you NEVER found the $2.71 – and all of it was higher! Cause I thought it was outrageous when I spent $2.74 last weekend, and now I’m looking like a rocket-scientist.
