A slick new site!

No, I’m not reviewing a personal lubricant like some of my buddies. This is about a cool place to read other people’s travel adventures.

It’s called Where’s Yours and it works kinda like a google map but you can put a pin in it where you’ve been in nature, and add a description (“Best beach EVAR,” “Toxic waste dump but great view,” etc.)

Since it’s still kinda new, it doesn’t have oodles of users and places to click yet (as I’m writing this it lists over 500 pins, so it’s not that new) but it’ll grow every day, and you can search and zoom and pan and all those other internety things.

You can register and put your own pin on the map. Do you have a favorite beach? A valley where you like to camp or hike? Out-doorsy healthy things, ya know?

It’s connected with Nature Valley bars, and yes, I have a slight incentive to talk about this – there’s like a one in a million chance my blog post will be picked by a drawing and I could win a trip. But if you (yes, you, in the back) register, they also have a contest where several lucky winners will win a trip somewhere on the map.

Sound cool? Got questions? Lemme know. I’m still exploring it (my browser is having issues, heh) but it looks really cool. I’ve registered and as soon as I can come up with some nice creative descriptions of places I like I’ll let y’all know where to find them.

In case you missed it, it’s http://www.wheresyours.com/. Check it out.
