In trying to get a grip on just how huge the profit just posted by Exxon for last quarter is, I decided to break it down.
It’s just thirty-nine cents a day. Every day of the past three months. Per person. in America.
Yes, my family of five would contribute $2.00 a day. And we don’t even shop at Exxon (in homage to all the dead wildlife in Valdez, besides – what do they need my money for?)
Oh, yeah, in other news, housing prices have dropped the most year-over-year than they have since I was four years old. And the Cowboys don’t have a quarterback, but then what else is new?
Have a lovely day.
The Big Tuna screwed the pooch. I’m a Cowboys fan, I’m just not a fan of Tuna!
