More birds, less frogs

If I had only four words to sum up the difference between walk/running at night versus doing it in the morning.

Yes, I made it out of bed by 6:30 to exercise.  The idea is to try and get back to a more or less “normal” sleep pattern, since walking at 11:00 at night tends to keep me awake until 1-ish.  But for some reason my boss still expects me to be at work on time, and my kids still like to be fed and dressed in the morning, and my wife can’t do it alone.

On the weight front, I’m apparently “gaining muscle.”  Yeah, that’s the ticket.

  1. Seriously, Ben, this weight loss stuff is HARD. Stay committed, but go easy on yourself 😉 The way I see it, if you lose it the right way–by incorporating exercise, changing your diet–it will stay off, and you’ll be healthier overall.

How are the clothes fitting? That’s one of the best judge of how you’re doing.

But trust me, I understand–I want to thrash the scale when it goes up!

It’s taken me nearly 2 years to lose 50 pounds, but it’s staying off (give or take a few pounds, which for me is amazing!)
