Hmmph. After that overwhelming response to my last post, I’ll give you a rundown of Saturday:

7:00 – wake up
8:30 – arrive at soccer fields with all three kids (two in soccer uniforms, one too young but carrying a soccer ball) for 9:00 game. Why so early? It’s picture day!
8:55 – everyone else has arrived so we can now take team picture.
9:05 – start nine o’clock game
10:00 – finish game having dominated opponents. Son still not happy about his performance. Jump into vehicles.
10:20 – arrive at other soccer field several miles away for next soccer game with other child. Spend next hour escorting various and sundry five year olds to only restroom at the park since they didn’t go before the game.
11:35 – head home, having dominated another game. My pedometer says I have taken 5,326 steps so far today. Most of those are between field D and the restroom.
12:30 – having changed clothes and packed everyone in the van, leave for nephew’s baptism. 200 miles to go and two and a half hours to get there!
