Sorry I haven’t been bringing you my usually endless tirade of silly news stories and pictures from around the web, bad jokes I’ve heard at the office cooler, or insignificant details of my insignificant existance (hey, that would be a good name for a rock band! Along with Urban Lunchmeat)

I was at a client’s all day, and will probably be there again tomorrow, and maybe Monday too just for grins. And while I have internet access there, it just ain’t a good time to be updating the blog with (all of the above).

But I did overhear a bunch of 20-somethings discussing the debate from last night.

“That Kerry is such a liar. He said the minimum wage hasn’t been updated in seven years, and I know it’s gone up since I started working.” (but you can’t be bothered to look at the poster on the breakroom wall, directly behind you, that is dated Sept 1997 and try and do the math in your head)

I wanted to say “It was $3.10 when you were born, and it’s $5.15 now. Think it’s keeping up with things?” but I didn’t; they already call me “sir” as it is. I don’t want to be “Sir Asshole”.
