It’s okay as long as you turn on the sprinkler.
My mom totally did that to me when I was a kid, so did the rest of the moms (locked door and everything). You came home when your mother screamed your name out the back door – meaning 1 of 3 things… 1) lunch time 2) dinner time 3) someone’s parent called and told your mom exactly what you were up to 😀
