Actual conversation with my six year old:
Him: “What are those?” pointing at carton of eggs.
Me: “Eggs.”
Him: “We had real eggs at school!”
Me: “More real than these?”
Him: “Yes!! The kind that come from a chicken.”

LOL We used to have “real” eggs at my grandma’s farm. It just seemed so wrong to me that a raw egg should have a warm shell. (You know, from the chicken sitting on it.)
I wonder where they make the eggs…
