We watched a Sally Struthers movie last night, that had a couple other folks that are sorta famous – Ali McBeal MacGraw and Steve McQueen and Slim Pickens even.

It was quite good, as always (haven’t watched it in probably 20 years) and it’s interesting to note that most Texas high school drill teams have uniforms modeled after the waitresses at the drive in burger joint, and apparently back then gasoline lacked the proper additives to allow cars to explode at the slightest provocation, they just had their headlights break and their hoods and trunks pop open to cause a crash.

Also, Amtrak was still in use, and bank robbers were as greedy as ever.

And I couldn’t help but comment once in a while, “meanwhile, back at the ranch…”
