I sat here trying to think of a better title for this post, but that’s all I could come up with. If you have a suggestion, leave it in the comments and I may change it.
Anyway, to update a couple things:
My brother in law, that passed away suddenly (well, it seemed pretty sudden to us, I understand he had cancer). Well, he’s still dead, but no arrangements yet. Now it looks like we (the Royal We) will head to North Texas in a couple weeks for a service here, and my wife may travel to Steel City sometime soon for a memorial there, sans excess baggage (husband and kids)

My coffee cutback (I need a name for this, anyone?) is going well, thanks. The week is almost over and I’ve had about as much coffee as I typically have on a single day. So that’s something.
I had Marble Slab last night. I was the only male there. Draw your own conclusions, but I think women like ice cream, and guys just go to the bar and drink. Or something like that.
Speaking of “slabs”, I weighed 260.4 this morning, which is higher than I was pre-holiday pre-funeral (October, wow, has it been that long?) but lower than I was on New Years Day. You don’t wanna know.
My daughter has started saying “be careful” whenever I leave the house. I think I saw her taking out extra insurance on my sorry ass…
I refer to my fast from coffee as the ‘Dark Age’, and occasionally, I blamed my moods on ‘coffee withdrawal’. 😉 Just hang in there, B.
Sorry about your brother-in-law. In my opinion death is always “sudden.”
Maybe “Bear…Decaffinated” or “Operation Cutback” or something along those lines. (I’m not good at titles, obviously.) Good luck with that, by the way.
