Was it really less than two weeks ago that I promised to not see any more movies this summer?

As this posts, we are here.  I bought tickets days ago, but kept it secret from the kids, so they wouldn’t ask every ninety seconds if it was time to go.  “But I have my shoes on!” “It’s three AM.  It’s not time yet.”  You know the drill.

Update:
If you are at all a fan of Superman, go see this one.  It’s worth paying theater price, it’s beautiful, especially on a big screen.  I was very impressed (and that’s saying something, I’m the guy that thought the 3d effects of “sharkboy and lavagirl” left something to be desired)
