Folks are writing to me and saying “Are you on crack?” and I have been tempted to reply “I will be by the time you can get over here” but that’s neither here nor there.

Why all the pictures?

I was trying to configure the “blog this” template at Flickr, so that when I see a cool photo and hit “blog this” it will still validate.  And I think I have it better.  (not really cool or anything, but at least it validates and doesn’t look too ugly)

And if you don’t know or care about why things should validate (they just should, that’s all) – you are better off for it.  Trust me.

I think I’m done for now, I’ll leave well enough alone now.  But aren’t there some wacky people at the World Cup?  Dayum, it’s like Mardi Gras but more sober and a wider range of nationalities.
