Bloggers are a threat to the US.

Why? We’re outta control. A single phone call to CNN or Fox or ABC and the govt. can squelch a story. They don’t even have to do that, these people have employees in the press corp with the president and at the white house pretty much all the time.

But bloggers? There are millions of us. And we’re everywhere. And it scares people.

So even my joking about whether Cheney should be allowed to have a gun will probably get notice by whatever super-secret govt. agency is now in charge of these things.

I think this is a good thing. We need a government that’s afraid of it’s people, instead of the other way around. These are interesting times, my friends.
