The brilliant folks in Houston are now going to pay Teachers more if their kids do well on tests. (As if we don’t already spend WAY too much time teaching the test as it is and not enough time teaching things that are necessary)

I think this is great. I think that all kinds of people should be paid this way:

Firemen should be paid more if there aren’t as many fires.
Policement should be paid more if there is less crime.
Soldiers should be paid more if there are fewer armed conflicts.
Lawyers should be paid more if there are fewer lawsuits.
Doctors should only get paid if their patients get well.
