My son was busy on Saturday, shooting five goals in his first game and I don’t know how many in his second (the second game I was too busy with his little sister, couldn’t pay enough attention to the game itself)
This is interesting because he obviously is very, very good at soccer. He was showing tremendous ball control (I have some of it on video), great sprinting, he was agressive about getting the ball back when somebody would take it from him. Not bad for being six. The coach for our opponent made it a point to come over after the game and tell him how he had great soccer “instincts” and he should definitely keep playing (this was our last game for the season). My son seems pretty unfazed by the attention and shrugs off people that congratulate him.
