Do any of y’all use satellite TV? Like Direct TV or similar?

I’d like to “cut the cable” and get the other nifty channels (something tells me we need 8 versions of The Discovery Channel) but I’m wondering if it’s worth the effort.

Our cable bill keeps going up and they don’t really offer anything new. Of course I know that TV is Bad For You and we only watch it in emergencies.
