Detective 1, played by five year old nosey-person: “Why was the door locked?”
Detective 2, played (adorably) by three year old know-it-all: “Why is daddy all sweaty?”
Detective 1: “Why couldn’t I come in a little while ago?”
Detective 2: “Why is daddy all sweaty?” Â (she’s a bulldog, this one)
Detective 1: “Did you lock the door on accident?”
Detective 2: “Daddy sure is sweaty!”
The suspects continue folding laundry, not making eye contact with the inquisitors. Â “Sure is hot in here, isn’t it?”
