something that is too easy to forget

A wonderful realization will be the day you realize that you are unique in all the world.

There is nothing that is an accident.

You are a special combination for a purpose-and don’t let them tell you otherwise, even if they tell you that purpose is an illusion. (Live an illusion if you have to).

You are that combination so that you can do what is essential for you to do.

Don’t ever believe that you have nothing to contribute.

The world is an incredible unfulfilled tapestry.

And only you can fulfill that tiny space that is yours.

Leo Buscaglia

Sir Gripesalot

Oh, man, I’m in a nasty mood. You don’t wanna be near me.

I’ve been yelling at the kids all morning, howling at traffic, I even glared at the lady at the coffee place when she said “We actually don’t have “large,” just small and regular.” It’s not her fault that I like to think things are bigger than they actually are. Oh, and today makes 100 days of “drinking less coffee.” If you think that doesn’t jive with the bit about the coffee lady, well that one large regular cup of coffee is still here on my desk and I’m only half-way through it an hour later.

Oh, there’s more – about school, mostly – that I can’t write for fear of really sounding like an asshole. Of course there is the dark cloud from the events yesterday in Virginia, too.

So, here’s about all I have, a little Calvin to lift the mood. Hope y’all are doing well, today.

I'm probably crazy but it keeps me from going insane

unconscious mutterings

I say, and you think…

  1. Freeze :: warning
  2. Naturally :: hanging
  3. Painting :: the garage
  4. Merits :: Badges
  5. Ironic :: not that song
  6. Survival :: not that TV show
  7. Cow :: Good (as in “good cow,” said about dinner. Sometimes)
  8. Anchor :: Man
  9. Sisters :: Act
  10. 70 :: Speed limit

I ran six miles this morning, and it was FREEZING, or it seemed like it. But I wasn’t PAINTING too hard. Heh.
