Trying to lose 100 or more pounds.
It’s nasty, cold, and wet outside. But I went for a run. I didn’t melt. I didn’t freeze. I did run 3 something miles. And now I’m gonna curl up with my kids on the couch, watch the Family Guy Star Wars show (“your powers are weak, old man”) and eat chocolate.
I have no one to blame but me, but I’m already digging myself out of a hole, running-wise. Way to keep those new years resolutions, pal.
I got really tired of seeing the giant goose egg staring at me from my running log for 2008. So, I finally did something about it. 3.2 miles today, in the 73 degree sunshine. Only 697 more miles to reach my goal for 2008.
