ambien music

I know, that should be ambient music, which is how I often listen to music. It is woven into whatever I’m doing, be it driving or working or napping or trying not to hear a child practice their instruments.

The other day I mentioned that google play has an instant-mix button, to make listening to music sound more like baking cookies I suppose. Any song you have, one click and bam, you have a list of songs to hear that you may like.

I made an instant mix for *FMLYHM and as the bud light commercial says… heeeeerewego.

Seether, Saving Abel, Cavo, Puddle of Mudd, Shinedown, Halestorm, Adelitas Way, even the new Avenged Sevenfold. Of course Theory of a Deadman. It’s like when we used to make mix tapes only there is a lot less finding the album, putting it on, realizing the song is on the other side so flipping it over, finding a blank tape and organizing things and then when the magic happens just sit there and have a cigarette. I have some older mix tapes and some mix cds (there were bloggers that used to send things to each other to help share our favorite music)

Here are just a few from the archives that Google felt matched the first song.

I’m woozy from ambien and will just quit yakking here.

crap, nearly forgot

*FMLYHM = Fuck Me like you Hate Me.
