My kids and a friend were looking for the kitten the other day. I understand why the kitten was being difficult to find, but that’s not why I’m writing this.

They quickly but methodically went through each room, left to right, looking under beds and behind curtains and in closets, calling out “clear!” each time they couldn’t find the cat.

Maybe we should cut down a bit on the crime shows…
