I will never forgive myself for the pain I have caused to those I love.  I accept this.

I also accept that being down on myself or wallowing in what has already happened (and cannot be undone) will bring me absolutely nothing, and living in the past won’t ease any of that pain I handed out so willingly.  So I’m putting my energy into moving forward, looking ahead, and being a better person, husband, and dad.   I won’t forget the lessons I have learned; far from it, but now I know how to avoid these pitfalls in the future, and maybe I can serve as a warning to others 😛

In happier news, just went with the family to see the Avengers.  I hope that Joss gets a few cents of the $50 or so we spent; he freaking earned it.

I’m thinking it’s almost burger time.
