If you’ve read here a while (say, three years or more), you might remember that Rita was supposed to go right over our house. I even posted the nifty graphic presentation by the US Navy that showed it.
Then, of course, Rita didn’t, we didn’t see a drop of rain. But we all had the day off work.
So, in the interest of science, I’m trying that shit again.
Only imagine that the little one is properly named “crop” but I screwed it up and am too lazy to fix it. See the last circle, showing winds reaching almost to Dallas as it makes landfall? Fun, huh? You coastal people (you know who you are) be safe out there.

As it passes over my house I will kick it in the ass and send it to you like a hacky sack… deal?

at least that map doesn’t end at the border like so many of them do. I remember growing up and watching the big sigh of relief whenever a storm veered south of us to the Mexican side. ‘Cause there was nothing on the other side of the little line, y’know.

Hope you get some rain but none of the dangers that go along with a hurricane.
