I just might get some sleep

So I’m driving to work, enjoying my newly phoenixed radio, and again I’m hit with a Grateful Dead tune:

Set out runnin but I take my time
A friend of the devil is a friend of mine
If I get home before daylight, I just might get some sleep tonight.

This is all well and good, but it wasn’t the Dead singing it. So I started wondering how many other people had covered it.
