Tonite I washed and braided her hair. This is usually her mom’s job, or we pay somebody to braid it.
Let’s just say? I’m still all thumbs. It’s bad enough that she (my daughter) won’t let me take a picture…

when I was little, I always wanted little braids and beads in my hair like my friend Nina. The beads clicked and swayed when she walked, and I thought it was SO COOL!
if I had known it was THAT much trouble, I might have been happy with my straight-as-an-arrow cut.
