I’m thinking that from time to time I should share some rather yummy foods that I am absolutely avoiding in an effort to be less fat.
Here’s todays:
Whataburger Chocolate Milkshake.
Large (44 oz)
1,216 calories
33 grams of fat.
What? You don’t have a Whataburger nearby? There’s one near my work.
I pass it six times a day, and don’t think I’m not dreaming of chocolate shakes once in a while, especially on a day like today, when it’s supposed to be 100 degrees again.
Yikes! That’s my whole “on a diet” calorie intake for the day. Can they make you a kid’s size? Like 8 oz or something?
My favorite I-can’t-eat-that-anymore shake is a dead heat between Sonic’s orange creamsicle and Jack-in-the-Box’s chocolate malted shake. Yeah, I don’t even want to know the nutritionals on those.
just a hint — Chick-fil-A’s Ice Dream Cone is something like 300 calories. And it’s good, really good. But, yeah, I can’t do that anymore, either. Not unless it’s a long run day, which for me is Sunday, and freakin’ CFA is closed on Sundays.
That’s absolutely frightening. My downfall at Whataburger are the chicken fingers – served with Texas Toast, of course.
Sorry I haven’t stalked you in a while. Busy with school and all.
Whataburger brings back college days for me: Clubs closed at 4AM, the San Angelo Whataburger started serving Breakfast Taquitos at 5AM. So we always had an hour to kill (read: try not to pass out BEFORE we got back to Whataburger).
