It seems ol’ Tom is so excited about his new daughter that he can’t stay in the country.

Yeah, right.

And puleeze, don’t tell me they need Tom to publicise the freakin’ movie. If people don’t know he’s in it – they clearly don’t care. He’s had tons of free publicity from his baby stunt. And will it make any difference to John Q. Moviegoer that he went to Italy to promote the movie, when he’s standing at the theater trying to decide if he should buy tickets? I certainly hope not.

If anything, I’ll be thinking “Well, he cares so much for his baby that he left her and his un-wife when she was just a week old. I care enough about my kids that I’ll stay home with them tonite and wait for this movie to come out on ABC.”
