I went for a run this morning. I got up at 5:00, 5:15, 5:25, okay, I was actually wearing shoes and clothes and stuff at 5:30. I went and did the “30/30” program for beginners that I read about at Hal Higdon’s site.
Basically you go for a 30 minute walk, but for the middle fifteen minutes you alternate running for thirty seconds and walking for thirty seconds.
So, nowhere near running a marathon, but hey, it’s a start.
