I was checking out Candleblog (as I do often) and saw a NOAA link and went there. I read this:
Tonight. Clear. Lows in the lower 40s. Light and variable winds.
Saturday. Mostly sunny in the morning. Then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. South winds around 10 mph.
Granted, it’s in Burlington, but JESUS CHRIST THAT’S COLD!
Here’s the one for us:
Tonight: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, possibly severe,. Mostly cloudy, with a low near 72. South wind around 5 mph.
Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high around 90. South wind between 5 and 15 mph.
And if it’s ONLY 90 that will be great since it’s been hotter all week (the rain, if it makes it here, will cool things off)
To be fair it did get all the way down to 68 or so the other day after a freaky line of thunderstorms flew down from Dallas and beyond. I don’t expect we’ll see it below seventy much at all between now and October.
My weather pixie at the moment claims it’s 90 out with only 55% humidity. It actually feels pretty nice. Perhaps I’ll go for a walk…
