Like watching home movies
As I’ve been trying to import my old posts, I get to watch them in reverse – it’s grabbing the old posts first and then moving toward the newer ones.
It’s slow going, and I have no idea why – what the script is doing is going over to my blogger account (I gave it a user name and password so it could basically “log in” and do whatever it needed to) and then copying the post to here and reposting it. Â It seems that some of my coding is messing it up – the posts that don’t have any extra HTML in them get imported quicker, but those with lists and blockquote and pictures and stuff take longer.
We’re up to the last day in August as I write this, so hopefully it will pick up soon.  That first summer I wrote a LOT of crap (90 posts a month sometimes).  Okay, I still do that, but this is refined crap.
