I could change the world,
I would be the sunlight in your universe.
You would think my love was really something good,
Baby if I could change the world.
Your son
Note: this is a guest post from my lovely bride, who says it waaaay
better than I could.
Ahem:
Decided to make coffee. Lunch, nah, but 2 hours later COFFEE!
I heard the trickling of water being poured into the coffee maker as I
was sewing at the table. Bounded up, and said, “Stop.” J immediately
started justifying why, how. I said, let’s do this the proper way.
So, we wiped up all the spilled grounds inside the machine. We poured
off the water, now comtaminated with grounds. J had dumped the coffee
in, “about 2 spoons.” I poured it out and insisted on measuring. We
put in 8 cups of water. We measured out a little over 7 spoons of
grounds, “Ah, that’s awfully close to the amount.”
Which means he’ll likely never measure out coffee grounds again.
They spent well over an hour building fort masterpieces in the living
room, then orchestrated battles with complete costume changes. J:
track pants, black cape, shiny knight chest armor, the pilot’s jacket
on top. And the mask from scream.
