Lately there have been life lessons coming at me from all sides. Sometimes it is overwhelming and I have to just shut things out for a little while. I’m trying to stay open, stay positive. Learn things.
A few days ago I ran across this article. I thought it looked pretty neat. But since then I’ve read it over and over and over again. I don’t know why it strikes such a chord with me. If I had to give a single answer, I would say it’s because I have an extremely hard time letting go. Of anything.
And no, I’m not up for arguing the point, there is a difference between leaving something in a physical sense and letting go. At least there is to me.
Real forgiveness is love in disguise, the blessing, because it requires us to hand it over without conditions. If you had to start listing how it’s going to be before you can forgive you need to start over because that’s not forgiveness, that’s control, maybe even revenge depending on the list of demands.
There is no real point to this entry, I just had to write it down and get it out of my head. Carry on.
