Get off your ass

I saw this just now and it made me smile:
But that’s not why I called this meeting. The actual dream I had last night was stranger (the part that I remember at least). In the dream I was trying to create a blog entry, and my browser was acting up, and what actually woke me up from the dream was the fact that I couldn’t re-arrange the tabs in my browser, and I finally realized that I must be dreaming if that were happening.
No, I can’t remember what I was dream-blogging about, but it did keep me awake for a while last night wondering. And then I was all proud of myself because I didn’t pick up my phone and send anything to twitter (I literally was counting characters in my head as I composed a tweet about dreaming about blogging). So that’s, um, progress?
Mmm, pancakes.
What a great weekend!
My wife ran her first (ever) triathlon today. I can’t speak for her, but for me it was very emotional, just knowing how hard she has worked and how far she has come in a short time. I was a spectator / support person, but I didn’t do very much support, mostly spectate. Nothing hurt, no broken equipment, she finished feeling strong. So awesome. Bonus: The kids have been up since 4:30 AM, so maybe they won’t be up too late tonight?
As for my personal fitness, it has been a pretty lazy week for me 😉 Back at it starting tomorrow, I hope.
It’s great to know that she did this for herself only; and I guess it’s a bonus that she did it without any help from me at all; in fact she probably wouldn’t have told me she was doing it except I saw her mention it on Facebook. So it goes.
