Bunsen and Beaker have their day!

They beat their closest rival by a margin of 2 to 1 and won 33% of the 43,000 votes cast in an internet poll.

Spock came in a distance second with 15% followed by The Doctor, from Dr Who, who garnered 13%. Scully, the only woman in the poll, came in sixth.”

I was thinking of getting one of these.

Do any of y’all use an MP3 player? I have a gazillion CD’s so I have plenty of music to choose from w/o going the pirate download route. I thought I would use this as a kind of ‘self reward’ if I get my ass in gear and walk/run/bike enough times in a week or so.

Any thoughts?

Update (and bump):
I looked again last night at our wholesale club and the one they have for $89 only has 128mb of memory, so it isn’t quite as good a deal as I thought. However I’m still liking the size/weight compared to other units (it is smaller and much lighter than I remembered from the first time) and I could always look for a memory card for it. Ebay prices are pretty much higher than the wholesale club, I think. We’re going to visit Target and perhaps Circuit City tonite and I’ll price things those places and start comparing features. Thanks again for all the feedback!

And this morning (sit down, if you aren’t already): I got up at 5:00 AM and walk/ran for an hour. And it didn’t kill me. I’m planning to do it again tomorrow morning. Take that, fat cells! And that!
