Saudi Edict Bans Mobile Phone Cameras

Saudi Arabia’s highest religious authority has barred the use of mobile phones with built-in cameras, blaming them for “spreading obscenity.”

The edict, which follows a failed ban on the sale and import of the wildly popular devices, is the most sweeping attempt by any nation to prevent the voyeurism invited by the new technology.

No mention of photocopiers. Stay tuned…

BTW, we should be receiving my wife’s new camera flip phone today. Can’t wait to do my our part to validate the Saudi suspicions…

Digi-confess!

Well, Jay confessed and now I feel I must, in order to sleep tonite.

1) I’ve had naughty thoughts involving a photocopier, screaming, a zuccini, and the lovely Mindy.

2) I asked my wife to go to a concert on Friday but wouldn’t feel bad if she said no since we would save paying a babysitter for the kids. We go to bed early at our house, and nobody would even miss me if I went alone but later.

They say “a little guilt’s good for ya’.” I dunno.
