What was once lost is now found

The wayward cell phone has been located. My wife sent me an e-mail saying it was in her van. (she couldn’t call, silly!)

But for today, of course, she can talk to herself all she wants, since we have unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes.

I am such a dork.

Lost!

No, this isn’t about the (admittedly awesome) television show.

I can’t find my cell phone! I’ve looked everywhere. Jacket pocket, pants I was wearing yesterday, car, desk, side table, etc. And of course I didn’t know it was gone until I was just about to walk out the door this morning (or I could have done a more thorough search). And although I don’t really talk on it very much, it has phone numbers I need, and is very handy for teachers and sitters and doctors to call me (and I’ll be out of the office again this morning, yet another reason I’m feeling naked without it)

And if this were CNN, I would have said my phone ‘went missing.’ Heh.

Just trying to help my fellow blogger

Okay, y’all know I’m busy today (I need to be out the door in ten minutes) so I don’t have time to help this poor guy out. So, I’ll pass it along to y’all.

I am Michael Davies, Esq. I am a lawyer with an established law practice here in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. My Late client, an expatriate, who died in the UK after sustaining serious unjuries in a bomb explosion in Lagos on January 27, 2002, before his death, deposited consignment containing $45, 000,000.00 Dollars with a vault Company in Europe. It has been almost 3 years since his death. All these time, I have been searching for any of my late client’s relative with no success. I am afraid that if I do not present a next of kin to the Company in the next 2 weeks, the consignments would either be confiscated or declared unserviceable by the vault company.

I am writing to you to assist me to claim the consignmet because my late client was from your country. I want you to be my active partner and I am prepared to split the entire money equally with you. As soon as you confirm your willingness in writing, I shall go to the Probate Court here and file necessary application for a letter of adminstration to be issued in your name.

There’s more, of course. Lemme know if you want his e-mail address or phone number.
