Home Away

I’m just curious, how many of y’all stay home for Christmas, and how many travel (to see family or just travel)?

Okay, I’ll go first: We go to stay with family, and have done so for years, since well BK (before kids). About the only thing that would keep us home is a snowstorm, and I think I’ve explained before that that just ain’t gonna happen.

Question of the day

Okay, I’m a little guilty of having perhaps maybe “made up” questions from Alert Readers in the past, but this one is for real and in my gmail inbox. And I have no freakin’ clue what the answer is.

So if anybody knows, can you share with the group? Then I can help out poor Kelly, who asks:

Hi B,

What are the Current, Voltage, and Power Hardware Limit Deltas?

Thanks,

Kelly

In touch with my inner dumbass… what edition is it now?

Yeah, if I want humor, if I want funny, I don’t have to go far. I’m a walking laughtrack. And the good thing is? I can spread it. Far and wide. Like fertilizer.

For example, here’s something I don’t even remember doing, but it happened. Apparently one day, when I was leaving a long message with my baby’s case worker, discussing legal type things, I get to the end and what do I say?

“I love you. Bye.”

Yeah. I did. She’s checking her voice-mail and I said this. Only she wasn’t sure, so she played it for somebody else. And then somebody else. At her office. How do I know? She shared with my wife. No, actually, they shared it. Apparently everyone got a great laugh out of it. I work with these people.

No wonder everyone was smiling at me at the Christmas party.
