For example

Here’s the kind of blog entry I was talking about. As I said, it’s better for your health that I’ve forgotten most of these.

Actually happened yesterday:

baby: (makes pukey face, here comes the pedialyte)
me: “please go get me a towel”
older child who is so helpful: not moving.
baby: “bleeechh”
me: “Please go get me a towel!”
OCWISH: “whoa, that looks pretty cool!”

Is it Monday already?

Apparently it is Monday, because I called the sitter and my office and explained that I have PBS.

That’s Puking Baby Situation. I just made that up. Funny, eh?

Well, anyway. The baby woke up yesterday having decorated her crib with, well, dinner from the night before. And not in a good way. She then kept herself (and my darling wife) entertained all day long by either pooping or barfing everything that made it even close to her tummy. I am so very glad we bought a new washing machine. And then she slept just fine all night, got up this morning (no fever, yesterday or today), ate some cheerios, and went right back to sleep.

So that’s where I’m at. Sleeping baby who may or may not be sick.

Hope everyone had a fine weekend, as usual I thought of ten different things that Must Be Blogged but then I slept and they’re all gone. Probably for the best, consider yourselves lucky.

FYI:

When you get an e-mail with the subject Your Verizon Online DSL Is Ready

and stuff like

“Don’t wait another minute! Set up your DSL service today and make this the last day you have to use dial-up. You’ll be exploring more, downloading more and achieving more online with your new DSL connection.”

Um, not really.

Hint: go online using your other computer as soon as you can, and dig around to find the 800 number, call it, hit the 37.2 different prompts to tell them your operating system and such, then tell the nice lady your phone number, and let her check everything and finally tell you that what the e-mail really meant was on February 2 it will be ready. After 6:00 PM.
