She’s back!

My car has been in the shop since before Mother’s Day. Yeah, I just checked my calendar and that was a while back.

So she’s home, with a new head gasket and a couple of belts and probably spark plugs, and today I took her to the car wash to clean off who knows how much dirt and gunk. So maybe I’ll even take a picture.

*sigh*

Yes, my life is so exciting that this is all I have to report this morning.

Pop quiz!

It doesn’t hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time. This little test should get you started.

During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director which is the criteria that defines a patient to be institutionalized.

“Well,” said the Director, “we fill up a bathtub, we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub.”

Okay, here’s your test:

1. Would you use the spoon?

2. Would you use the teacup?

3. Would you use the bucket?

“Oh, I understand,” said the visitor. “A normal person would choose the bucket as it is larger than the spoon.”

“No,” answered the Director. “A normal person would pull the plug.”

So how did you do?

Gotta boogie

I’m probably the last kid to hear bout this, but there’s a pretty cool search engine called iBoogie that kinda does the search thing like Google mixed with the category (“clusters,” now) thing like Yahoo et. al.

It’s a fun way to um, be productive! Yeah, that’s the ticket.

Lessee if this works:
