Sound-of-Thunder

Um, the closest to bad had to have been “A Sound of Thunder.” And it wasn’t even that bad, somewhere between Sharkboy and LavaGirl and Yu-gi-Oh!

But most dinosaur movies aren’t designed to make you laugh at them, I don’t think. This one takes the unlikely, multiplied by the improbable, with some impossibly bad special effects (must have slashed the budget or something) thrown in.

Best line of the film? “This can’t be good.”

I take it this CNN guy didn’t like the movie:

Review: ‘Sound of Thunder,’ smell of garbage: “People at the studio screening I attended began fleeing after 10 minutes — and they got in for free. Indeed, while the credits rolled I heard a guy shout out, ‘I want my money back.’”
