The scaremongering at CNN is getting kinda lax, don’t you think?
For example, they tell you about the evildooer amoebas in Orlando, that have killed three kids with an ‘extremely rare’ illness, but neglect to say anything about the two people in Texas that died three weeks apart from the same thing. (I know, Dr. Gupta is busy right now, and soon there will be a full blown series on this deadly non-epidemic, but for now they are paying more attention to OJ than this silent but deadly killer in our lakes)
And at least five cases in one summer – that we know about – can we drop the ‘extremely’ yet and just say it’s rare? How many people have won the lottery this summer?
