This is so wrong, but damn if this song isn’t freakin’ awesome:

Your Momma says you dont
And your daddy says you won’t
And I’m burnin’ up inside
Ain’t no way I’m gonna lose out this time

Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Lock your daddy outdoors
I don’t need him nosin’ around
Tie your mother down
Tie your mother down
Give me all your love tonight…

This song?  Is in my head and won’t go away.  So, I thought I’d share…

Are you gonna take me home tonight
Ah, down beside that red firelight
Are you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin world go round

Ready Freddy

So my new copy of Queen Greatest Hits vol I and II arrives today in the mail.

And I find myself in the living room dancing with the kids.

Don’t stop me now I’m having such a good time
I’m having a ball don’t stop me now
If you wanna have a good time just give me a call
Don’t stop me now (’cause I’m havin’ a good time)
Don’t stop me now (yes I’m havin’ a good time)
I don’t want to stop at all

And watch, their mom will come home in the middle of this one:

Hey I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery
Left alone with big fat fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Heap big woman you made a bad boy out of me
Hey hey!

I’ve been singing with my band
Across the wire across the land
I seen ev’ry blue eyed floozy on the way
But their beauty and their style
Went kind of smooth after a while
Take me to them dirty ladies every time

Oh won’t you take me home tonight?
Oh down beside your red firelight
Oh and you give it all you got
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin’ world go round
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin’ world go round

and how about

I work hard every day of my life
I work till I ache my bones
At the end I take home my hard earned pay all on my own -
I get down on my knees
And I start to pray
Till the tears run down from my eyes
Lord – somebody – somebody
Can anybody find me – somebody to love?

(he works hard)

Everyday – I try and I try and I try -
But everybody wants to put me down
They say I’m goin’ crazy
They say I got a lot of water in my brain
Got no common sense
I got nobody left to believe
Yeah – yeah yeah yeah

Oh lord
Somebody – somebody
Can anybody find me somebody to love?

To which my son says: “This is like Ella Enchanted, but he has a frog in his voice. He isn’t singing it right.”

Hope y’all are as drunk content as I am at this moment.
