plugins

Trying another post, to see if I can get my images to work on the feed. Something still isn’t right.

This is from the lovely and talented folks at Despair.

My old image plugin has been upgraded to work with WP 2.5. I’m hoping this fixes all the BS that doesn’t work right with the default plugin (at least, it doesn’t work right for ME, and we all know that I’m special)

Get Image Manager here. I love it.

Oh, update: I also switched to Simple Tags. So far, so good.

Yesterday, I found a nifty countdown timer.  I wanted to see how long until my vacation.

Well, it won’t work with this theme.  It might work in a post, which is almost as good, we’ll see.

Grr.

Update: I made it work, by putting the code directly into the sidebar.php and not the constants.php, which is where it is preferred.  (if this makes no sense to you, join the club, but the short answer is that if I save changes to my sidebar in the constants.php, such as the technorati badge, then if and when I upgrade my theme I don’t have to make the changes all over again, my constants.php file will just copy to the new theme, any changes made directly to sidebar code will be wiped out and must be redone).  I have no idea why this happens, I didn’t change the code at all (it just calls a php function).  Whatever, it works.

I’m hoping this one will show off “lightbox”.  If I installed the darn thing right.
