nuts

I’m tired of seeing my own writing at the top of the blog, so here’s something else to get tired of soon.

I’ve added a list of the last five songs I’ve listened to on last.fm down on the sidebar (waaay down, right now).

Is Gmail ever going to come out of Beta?

Remember when people would buy Gmail invites on ebay? I’ve got 100 right now. In each of five or six accounts. Anybody want one? (note: the answer is: WTF? You can just sign up on the web site, so why bother counting invites?)

We’re Not Gonna Take It is on the radio, and I remember as a kid thinking the “see me, feel me” part was all about sex. Now that I’m older? It sounds like a congressional campaign ad.

(you’re welcome)

I’ve got free stuff! Sorta.

Of course I can send you a gmail invite (I don’t think anyone cares about them anymore, though). And for a week or so I can send you a free month of Netflix. Sure, anybody can get two weeks by going to their website, but this is a free month! That’s like twice as free. Or, something.

If you want some, leave a comment or whatever.

Feedburner junk:

Ya know a while back when I said I would quit purging my bulk folders, to see who would accumulate the most spam in thirty days, Yahoo or Gmail?

Well, as of today here’s where we are:

Yahoo bulk folder: 976
Gmail spam folder: 2,4282,441
other Gmail spam folder: 2,992 (this is the one I use for blogging)

Don’t know what that means. Probably, in the grand scheme of things, not much (&)

Spam Race 2000

I know it’s probably all kinds of wrong, but I’m watching two of my e-mail accounts - a gmail and a yahoo - to see who gets the most spam. (what? Doesn’t everyone have multiple e-mail accounts? I have five gmail accounts, I think)

Right now, gmail has 1,768, and Yahoo! is sucking wind with only 355.

But to be fair, Yahoo only has two weeks worth, okay, really only ten days, so I’ll need to keep an eye on it until they both get to their max 30 day limit.

Riveting, eh?
