I’m very guilty of letting my kids perhaps see a little more than they should, given their age and delicate sensibilities.

From listening to music to seeing glimpses of content on tv to hearing me talk like a sailor (and not like Popeye), they certainly can’t say that I have overly-sheltered them. If this is the best approach won’t be known for years, perhaps if they have kids of their own they will think about it at that point.
