Hells to the YES

Remember when you were young, you shone like the sun?

I happened to hear about this on the radio this morning, I thought I would have just sorta known if something like this was going to happen, but no.

Pink Floyd will release a remastered version of their entire back catalog later this year.

Oh, yes.

For example:

Wish You Were Here ‘Immersion’ 5-disc and ‘Experience’ 2-disc editions, both of which will include bonus material from the band’s 1974 Wembley dates, including a 20-minute tour de force live rendition of ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’, as well as a unique recording of ‘Wish You Were Here’ featuring the legendary jazz violinist, Stephane Grappelli. A collectors’ vinyl LP will also be available, as will various digital formats.

There will also be a multi-disc remastered version of The Wall next year (which will go nicely alongside the live concert video version that Roger should be putting out after he films in Greece soon).

I think I may need to lie down for a few minutes and just process all this…
