Actually, no.
I haven’t gone to bed.
It’s 11:00, and there is a line of thunderstorms coming that appears to stretch from Mexico to Canada, and it’ll pass right over the house in about an hour.
Whee. Gotta keep the dogs in and hope the kids don’t wake up.
Oh, and there’s one of my droll, depressing, if I was a Goth it might even be good, posts set to kick off soon; pay no attention.

Yeah, I haven’t written anything.
At first, it was because I was recovering from our weekend at a wedding. Then, it was because I was lazy. Now? It’s because I’m busy.
I’m working on a project at work, and it’s wearing me out. On top of that, at least one child has decided that I’m something to be screamed at (with full obscenities) randomly, and that’s got me a bit flustered. I don’t even feel like talking about it, much.
So…
I promise to write more, soon. About something other than the weather (today: sunny) or sports (Here we go, Steelers!) or the other usual topics.
Anybody seen any good movies? Heard any good jokes? Do share.
And yes, with a subject line like that, I could go just about anywhere. But let’s keep it simple and just talk about the weather for a moment.
From today’s forecast for this weekend here:
Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. South wind between 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
Saturday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Mostly cloudy and windy, with a low around 39.
Now, you might recall that just last week it was snowing here, and today is fog with about 1/2 mile visibility.
It’s nuts.
