Child (who is still learning to read): That’s the letter B!  God starts with B.
Mom (who knows how to read, she thought): No, I think you mean “G.” Â God starts with G.
Child: No, it doesn’t, it’s B. Â I know!
Mom: “G“. Â The “guh” sound [I'm not sure how you spell it, but y'all know how to make a "guh" sound. Â That's what she was doing.]
Child: No, at school we learned it. Â Our music teacher said: “Should old acquaintance B for God…”
Mom: slaps her forehead. Â You can’t defy logic like that.
